This project is from a series of home designs using pre-designed modular elements that can be rearranged in different configurations to adapt to different site conditions and program needs. In this example, the home is composed of three interpenetrating wings that weave the structure into its site with minimal disruption to the existing trees, vegetation, and topography. The living areas are configured to create and open onto a sunny outdoor living court on the south while the extra large workshop/garage opens onto a separate, shaded working court to the north.
